Botanical & Zoological Collections at the University of Melbourne Archives

The University of Melbourne Archives (UMA) holds a range of records of academics, former students and individuals related to the disciplines of Botany and Zoology. Included in the collection are the records of prominent botanist and academics such as Dame Margaret Blackwood, Professor Carrick Chambers, Isabel Clifton Cookson, Sophie Charlotte Ducker, Dr Ethel McLennan and J.S. Turner. Also held are small collections related to Baron Ferdinand von Mueller and William Guilfoyle, both former director of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne. Records of prominent Zoologists and academics such as Georgina Sweet, Wilfred Eade Agar and Michael James Denham White are also held.
