Process and Protocols
The University of Melbourne Collections Policy (MPF1309) articulates a framework for developing and managing the University’s significant cultural collections. Collections are cared for by central University departments, including the Museums and Collections department and Student and Scholarly Services, as well as Faculties and schools. Departments and Faculties are responsible for local policy and protocols relevant to the collections in their care. For details of local policies for collections held by Faculties or Student and Scholarly Services, visit the relevant collection site. If you are looking for information on a specific collection, please contact the Strategic Collections team.
